You may remember Unathi and Mtunzi’s wonderful 1920’s themed engagement shoot that was featured on my blog not too long ago. As beautiful as it was, it was definitely only a glimpse of what was to come. Their themed wedding simply blew all in attendance away. Every part of their wedding was absolutely gorgeous, from glass tables specially sourced by Angelic Wonders, to beautiful and delicate flowers which included masses of peonies. No detail was overlooked!

 

Unathi and Mtunzi decided to go the rather unconventional route of having a ‘first look’ so that they could also enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests. And what a first look it was! I hinted at how many emotions we experienced that day when I posted a preview on my Facebook page. It was a moment that I am sure none of those present will ever forget, and there really wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

 

I feel so blessed to have been able to share this day with such an amazing couple, even luckier still to have gone on a journey of creativity and exploration with them. They challenged me to think outside the box, and we enjoyed every minute of scheming and planning all the photographic details together. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Unathi and Mtunzi, I am soooo happy that our lives crossed paths 🙂

P.S. A big shout out must also go to Table 13, you guys are still the most crazy wedding table of 2013… “Me and Mrs Jones” will never be the same for me again 🙂
