Any Forest Hall wedding will definitely rank on on my list of favourites, but this one may have just taken the cake (or all three of them haha). It was a gorgeous mix of eclectic styling, wildflowers and the most superbly down to earth people that I could ever wish to photograph!
If you travel deep into the heart of The Crags (you know, the spot where they have speed traps alllll the time, just before Plett), you will wind down a long dirt road and eventually come to gates that house this gorgeous privately owned property. The house has been declared a historical monument (built in 1864) and is surrounded by indigenous forest with a private beach. It is such a magical property and definitely on the top of my ‘best south african wedding venues’ list.
So it is here that we all arrived to what can only be described as boho wildflower hippy amazingness! I think that should be a new wedding catchphrase haha! Hats off to the amazing team (all listed below) that put this Forest Hall wedding together, because it was insanely beautiful. I got to work alongside some of my closest friends again. Even better… with two free-spirited and down to earth people, Bianca and JP.
Sjoe Bee and Japes! When we first met I knew that you wedding day was going to be an absolute blast, but you guys outdid all my expectations! Your non-traditional wedding was just full to the brim with emotion and pure love. From the first look to the non-first-dance, your wedding day was a perfect reflection of your personalities and all of your quirky, alternative, laugh-a-minute traits. I feel so lucky to have walked this path with you two and am beyond lucky to now call you friends. Love you guys!
